Out Came the Sun

"and dried up all the rain..."
That's Eliza's favorite song, by the way. She loves spiders. Or so she says. "Spiders" like to tickle in our house.

We had all planned to join the kindergartners at a park this afternoon to have lunch and play, but there was a steady rain all morning, so their field trip got cancelled. So we joined Amanda at school for a little while, and then took her home early.

Of course, by then, it was a bright, sunshiny afternoon, so we decided to make good use of it. We packed up our gear and went in search of some more local letterboxes.


We found the first one in the Community Garden right near our church. Then we headed off to a nearby park to find four more. The girls and I had only been to this park one other time and Chad had never been there, so we had fun exploring all the trails through the woods.
