We took the girls to the art museum tonight. Amanda's school was having a free family night. The main exhibit was one by Andy Warhol and they had a little scavenger hunt, which Amanda liked. The girls also liked the haute couture exhibit. The rest of the museum we walked through pretty quickly, with a few stops at various pieces that caught their attention. We had cookies and juice afterwards (provided by the school) and were in and out in an hour. I thought it was a positive first-time experience with an art museum for the older girls and the most we could reasonably expect from Eliza.

Fun! The girls have never been, but we took First Son to a number of museums in New York back in the day. He always preferred the more modern pieces with lots of bright colors. I've been meaning to go here (where it's free every Saturday), but just haven't gotten around to it.
