We haven't filled out the enrollment papers yet, but all the appropriate authorities have been notified. Friday will be Amanda's last day at her current school, and she will start at her new school after the holidays. We're all very excited! The decision was easier for her than I expected. As long as she can have pictures of her friends, she's pretty content. Her new school is a uniform school, so she's excited about that. Some of you know that she would be thrilled to wear pleated skirts everyday. She can also wear pants, of course, but I think that we will have to fill out the majority of her uniform wardrobe with skirts and jumpers.
Update - Chad had lunch with Amanda today so we could give her teacher her gifts and take a picture of her with Amanda. Today is her teacher's last day before the holidays, since her grandfather died on Monday. So unfortunately, her teacher has to miss the holiday celebrations planned for the classes tomorrow and Friday. Chad said her teacher is very sad to be losing Amanda and wanted to know if there was anything she could do to keep her.
