Farm Field Trip

The kindergarten classes at Amanda's school went on a field trip to a farm today. Here she is with the little pumpkin she picked straight from the field. It's so cute!

The farm they went to had most of the typical farm things to see and do, but they also had some unusual sights. Her favorite thing was the bison. She also liked the baby peacocks, the ostrich, and the bees making honey. They got to pet a bull, and they were pulled around the farm by a tractor with "gigantic" wheels. It was a windy, chilly day, though, so they went back to school early to have a late lunch, since the shelter at the farm was apparently missing a roof.

What fun! We're heading out to a farm tomorrow with the kids. I thin we'll also head back for lunch. I hope our pumpkins are as cute as Amanda's!
