We all took a little excursion to the oldest gold mine in the U.S. this morning. There was a nice tour down inside the mine and the girls were pretty interested. Next time we'll bring a picnic lunch and explore the trails some more.
We spent $2 to pan for gold, and we found some! We found two tiny bits and brought them home in a little vial.

I know! I was content to lay low today, but Amanda was asking what we had planned for the day before breakfast. It wasn't far, and we were back home for a late lunch, so it wasn't too bad.
