Strawberry Picking

It has been very rainy most of the week. Yesterday was dry, though, and that made this morning a very opportune time to go strawberry picking. A local strawberry farm is having a rain sale ($1/lb.), since the field is full of ripe berries that need to be picked.
We invited Caitlyn's friend who lives down the street to come with us. We picked about 10 lbs. in 30 minutes, but Caty's friend got to take her 2 lbs. home with her. So you can guess what I've been doing since we got home. Chad is looking forward to having his favorite dessert tonight.



(Amanda is going to a strawberry farm on a field trip in a couple weeks, so she didn't mind us going without her this time.)
