I had an early Mother's Day treat today and spent most of the day at our church's DIY (Do It Yourself) Day. It was great to spend the day learning from other gifted women in our church.
I went to three workshops - gardening (from compost to canning), cupcakes (baking and decorating), and home organization. We also had a fabulous lunch and speaker. It was a very nice mini-getaway.
Meanwhile, Chad and the girls spent the morning at the big indoor play area and then spent the afternoon at the learning store and the craft store, making all sorts of free gifts for me. =)
