The girls both had a great first day. Caitlyn has a new teacher (new to the school), and I think we'll really like her. Caitlyn was clearly worn out from her first day, though, and said that first grade was very busy, so she'll definitely be getting an earlier bedtime.
Amanda is looking forward to some disciplined fun this year. (That's what she's heard about her teacher.) Amanda told me on the way home that she has no one at her table who will talk to her at inappropriate times. (That's a very good thing, since Amanda does not need a lot of encouragement to talk, as you may know.)
