A Wee Scottish Break

While Caitlyn was away having fun with her Girl Scout troop on Saturday, we went to the local Highland Games/Festival. It was a nice break from all of Amanda's musical rehearsals.

Amanda won two blue ribbons for the children's events - one for a foot race, and one for a potato race.


They had an awesome Scottish rock band performing while we were there. The girls really liked it, too. Men wearing kilts and rocking with bagpipes and an electric fiddle is just not something you see every day.
