On Saturday, we took Grandpa Steve out to lunch for his birthday, and then that night, Chad and Amanda went to the Girl Scout Father-Daughter Dance. We didn't get any pictures of the two of them together on our camera, but Chad said they took some, so maybe we'll get one later. Here is a picture of Amanda dancing, though. They had a very nice time.
Amanda had yesterday and today off of school for Parent-Teacher Conferences. (And probably also because of the election, since her school is where we vote.) Her teacher said she is a joy to have in class and she got the highest marks in every area.
Chad took a vacation day yesterday, since Amanda was going to be home. It gave me a chance to do some things (get new contacts and a flu shot) without needing to take the girls along. Caitlyn also had her very overdue four-year-old well child visit. She loves to go places with mama by herself, so she enjoyed it, despite the shots.
