Pumpkin Farms

Last weekend, the girls and I had planned to go to the annual fall festival at the big park near Grandpa Steve, since it has become somewhat of a tradition. Apparently, though, the festival has become hugely popular, and we were stuck in traffic about a mile from the park. So we turned around and went back to Grandpa's for ice cream. The girls were disappointed, so we stopped at a local farm on the way home where I knew we could pick a pumpkin from the field and see some farm animals.

Yesterday, I went with Eliza's class, and the rest of the kindergarten, to a different pumpkin farm. It was a perfect fall day for a trip to the farm.
