Family Night

Every year during the book fair, the girls' school has a family night where each grade shows off some of what they've been learning in music.
Here are a couple of pictures. The fourth grade sang a little and played several songs on their recorders.

I didn't get a good picture of Caitlyn, but the Second Grade sang the favorite song of the night. They had great motions and it was very fun. If you are not familiar with the song "Mama's Soup Surprise," you can check it out here -

They also have cake walks at the book fair. You may remember that one year the girls each won a cake. Well, last night, we stayed true to form - Amanda won the first cake walk and Caitlyn won the second. We decided to stop there. We gave the rest of our cake walk tickets to two other families. Both of those families also won cakes.
