Eliza went to a day camp for girls run by a wonderful family from our church this week. Amanda and Caitlyn both went once or twice when they were younger, but this was a chance for Eliza to go to camp without a sister. They had an Olympic theme, and today the families were able to come and hear the songs and verses the girls learned.
Here she is with the paper-mache world they made over the course of the week. It was actually a pinata that they put candy in, so it was promptly smashed as soon as she got home. =)
Before camp this morning, Eliza and I also went to school for a kindergarten meeting. She was able to spend some time with her teacher and classmates, drop off all her supplies, find her desk, and learn where things are in her classroom. She's very excited to get started! Less than two weeks to go! We're trying to plan some fun things for our last full week of summer next week.
