The Adaptive Sports Adventure Program with which Chad volunteers every summer had their first Saturday ski day yesterday. It's likely that it will be the only time this summer that we'll be able to go on a Saturday, so we made an extra effort to make it out.
It was a great day for it, and we were able to spend a few hours at the "beach" while they took out the skiers. It was a day specifically for the local brain injury group, and they had a nice lunch and then took people out on the adapted ski or for boat or jet ski rides.
The girls and I swam and played on the slide, and when Chad was finished, he took each of the girls for a ride on the jet ski.
