This is one of Eliza working on some jellybean math. For "J" last week, I bought a bag of jellybeans and we worked on sorting, counting, patterns, etc.
Caitlyn was honored in morning assembly at school last Friday. She was nominated for showing Courage, the monthly character trait, in February.
On Saturday, Chad's work had a family bowling day. We took Grandpa Steve along for a day of pizza and bowling. Prior to Saturday, Eliza asked daily for nearly two weeks, "How many days until pizza and bowling?" She was SO excited to go REAL bowling, because she knew she'd be great at it. She is, after all, the family Wii bowling champion. And when she got a strike in the second frame, nothing could make the day anything less than fabulous.
Amanda has been rehearsing for weeks for the children's choir (grades 2-5) spring musical, and on Sunday she got the exciting news that she got one of the main speaking roles! She will be a ewe named Curley! They will have three performances Mother's Day weekend. (Here she is with some very curly hair - she loves to have me braid it before bed.)
And here is a preview of Eliza's spring pictures. Amanda and Caitlyn wore their favorite dresses for spring pictures at school yesterday, so Eliza wanted to get out her Easter dress and hat to take pictures, too.

Oh, we should definitely do some jellybean math!
I'll have to see if I can remember...though we did Andes mint math today (division, though not by name).
