More than a whole hand!

It's been an exciting few days for Caitlyn - starting kindergarten and having a birthday!
Caitlyn got to go up front during morning assembly at school yesterday. Anyone having a birthday gets to tell how old they are, the whole school sings, and they get a special birthday pencil. Amanda went up with her for support - it was very cute. I forgot to bring my camera, of course.
Last night, we went roller skating, which is what she wanted to do for her birthday. We ate pizza and had a fun night together.


This morning, she got to have her breakfast in bed - chocolate-chip pancakes with powdered sugar and fresh strawberries.


Here she is with the pillow pet we got her. They were completely sold out of ladybugs all over town, but she likes her dog a lot, too.

Tonight, Grandpa Steve came over for dinner, and then we had cake and ice cream after Chad got home from work.
