Fun with Seuss

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday this coming Tuesday, it was another special day of crafts and activities at our favorite Learning Store.

Those are Horton ears and fish tanks (One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish).

I have promised to make green eggs and ham for dinner on Tuesday, especially since it happens to be breakfast-for-dinner night anyway.

Do you do breakfast for dinner once a week? Our kids would love that, as long as it was pancakes!

Yes, we have breakfast for dinner every Tuesday. We started doing it soon after we got married, when Chad was never home in the mornings for a real breakfast. The kids love it, and it makes meal planning a little easier. Yes, the kids prefer the meals that call for syrup, but Chad prefers egg-based meals, so I try to alternate.

Why alternate? Eggs and pancakes!!

I'd suggest we do something like that, but we have big breakfasts three or four times a week. That's a benefit of the professor life-style.

Of course, now we have so many eggs, we do sometimes have egg sandwiches for dinner.
