Week in Review

Amanda and Caitlyn spent most of the first part of the week outside with their friend Keyla, pretending they were Girl Scouts going on a mountain hike. They brought their backpacks, water bottles, and snacks and "hiked" around the cul-de-sac.


Caitlyn decided this week that she was ready to learn how to make her own peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Here is a picture of both girls, practicing. Amanda is making her favorite sandwich - tuna fish and cheese.

They also asked a couple times this week to make "cookies" out of bread. So we got out the cookie cutters and some toppings to decorate.

To end the week, the girls invited several of their neighborhood friends over to play in our big tent in the backyard (thanks to Daddy for setting it up!) and roast marshmallows.
