Christmas

We had a wonderful, relaxing visit with my family. The kids had fun with their cousins, and we had a big family dinner gathering at my mom's the Sunday before Christmas. It was really nice to spend time with everyone, and there's always too much good food. The weather was all over the place, but we did have clear weather on Sunday and a nice dusting of snow the day before Christmas.

I didn't take too many pictures while we were at my mom's house, but here are the best from Christmas day.

Christmas afternoon we headed over to my grandmother's house for the Taylor Family Christmas. It was another fun, boisterous gathering. My aunt organized everyone into a talent show this year, which was great fun. The kids ended up having several different entries into the show. Eliza wrote and performed an original song. Chad read a wonderful story he wrote about our family. The annual gift exchange theme for the year was to buy the person we picked something that began with the first letter of their name. The grandkids introduced everyone to "What Does the Fox Say?" and showed off all their rainbow loom creations. Marvelous memories.
