Hiking Day

Amanda went to spend the day with a friend who happens to live near one of our favorite parks, so Chad and I packed a lunch and took the other girls hiking on Monday. It was a beautiful day.

Caitlyn spotted this interesting lizard and asked me to take a picture. I was impressed that she saw it, because it didn't move at all. 

It was a good 25-30 minute hike each way, and Eliza did great until we were about halfway back. I discovered that she is very easily distracted by the game, "I'm going to Grandma's house, and I'm taking..."  I'm sure I'll be using that again.
