It's been several years since we've been excited about football in this house - probably not since the last time the local team did very well. This year, however, Chad's long-time favorite team is having a good year and they made it to the playoffs.
So, today was all about football. Grandpa Steve came over and we ate all the traditional football fare. It was a little new for the girls, but they knew what to do. Amanda and Eliza performed several cheers for us during the course of the game.
It was a very stressful ending, but they won! Yay! So now we get to do it again next weekend.
Chad had a bet that if they lost, he'd shave his beard. He's been growing it for over five months, and it looks like it has at least a week left to go.
