Earth Day

We went to a nearby Nature Center/Preserve for a little while this morning. The girls always have fun poking around the play things and looking at the reptiles and amphibians behind glass.



We asked about an interesting tree they had outside, sweet-smelling with drooping white flowers, and they offered a bucket so we could take home a couple of saplings, since it's Earth Day and all. We also got an unusual azalea shoot to bring home. The girls were able to do some watering with rain water.
