Amanda's class is doing a big unit on Communities. Everyone in the class had to pick a business or service for their "Kids Town" and then build a model. At first Amanda wanted to be the electric company, but then she chose to do a park. Here is her model of Duck Pond Park. It's kind of hard to see the slide and swing set, but she did a great job. She did every bit of it by herself. (She had to put in a building for her office, and it doubles as a bathroom.)

I am very impressed with her park! I'm so glad there's a bathroom, too. All parks should have clean bathrooms. (I'm guessing it'll be clean since it's also her office.)
