Chad worked all weekend, so the girls and I had a fun time together at home. We made homemade caramels on Saturday (my great-grandmother's recipe) and cut-out cookies on Sunday.
The girls also put together a skit about the birth of baby Jesus, which I so wish I had gotten on tape. They had four scenes and played all the characters, with costumes. It was wonderful. Perhaps I'll request a repeat performance.
