Thanksgiving

We're expecting a quiet day here. Chad is working today, so we're hosting his side of the family tomorrow for our Thanksgiving meal. The girls and I will be cleaning and cooking and preparing for the arrival of the cousins. We'll quietly count our many blessings.
I told the girls they could take some time this morning to do what they wanted, and Amanda asked if she could go outside to sketch bare trees. Caitlyn thought that was a marvelous idea. They took out the sketchbooks Caitlyn got for birthday and sat in the driveway, sketching.




Eliza decided she would rather put on her princess crown and take her horse out for a trot on the sidewalk.
